Wishlist Wednesday: Embroidered jeans

Jeans are a staple of almost any wardrobe, and this seasons’s must-have denim look is embroidery. We took a tour of our retail partners to find out where you can get the embroidered jeans look, from fine florals to punchy patches.

Here are a few of our favourites for autumn/winter 2016, all available to click & collect to your nearest CollectPlus store.

Croatia’ straight-leg jeans, £49.99 at Mango

With their simple blue-on-blue colour theme and a straight up and down fit, these subtly faded jeans from Mango are an easy everyday option for the autumn. Team them with a crisp shirt for the office, or with your favourite knitwear on a blustery October day.

‘Alannah’ relaxed skinny jeans, £48 at River Island

We couldn’t help but love these quirky relaxed skinnies from River Island, which give heaps of attitude from every angle. Brightly coloured butterfly patches dazzle from the front, with the message ‘Sorry not sorry’ creating interest at the ankles.

Bird embroidered slim leg jeans, £14 at Very

One of the best value options in our selection is this slim-cut, high-waisted embroidered jean from the new V by Very range. At just £14, this is a great choice if you haven’t quite made up your mind about this whole embroidery shebang, but want to give it a try.

Heart ripped embroidered jeans, £29.99 at New Look

Take a walk on the wild side in these tight-fit ripped jeans with a flash of embroidery at the hip. Seen close-up, the stitched writing reads: ‘I love you but I have chosen fashion’. Make of this what you will…

floral jeans

Amelie super skinny floral jeans, £45 at River Island

These smooth and stylish smoky-coloured jeans from River Island are a treat for the senses with their burst of floral finery above the knee. We can see these working well with chunky pastel knitwear, and hi-top trainers for a relaxed autumn/winter look.

We know that sizing jeans is a fine art, so don’t worry if you find that the fit isn’t quite right when you try them on at home: you can always use our easy returns service to swap them out for a new pair that’s a snug as a glove.
