London Fashion Week is upon us, and the fash pack are out in force. We caught up with fashion and lifestyle blogger Sinead Crowe of Love Style Mindfulness to find out what she’s been taking with her to the LFW shows. Are you ready for exclusive access to its contents?
Sinead Crowe: Think of your LFW handbag as more of a survival kit. I don’t know what kind of woman you are, but I’m the kind that constantly carries around my life and anything I might possibly need in and eventuality and LFW is no exception. Plasters are non optional, if you leave home without them you’re screwed. I’ve got scars from the blisters I got last year and those were from my favourite most worn in shoes, it doesn’t matter what you wear, there’s a curse on LFW, you will get blisters. Next up is snacks and lots of ’em. I’m a woman with an appetite and food is far and few between. And the rest of my survival kit?
Griffin Retractable Charge/Sync Cable £9.98 at John Lewis
Me and my ginormous portable charger get a tough time of it with people but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I need those 10 charges it carries especially in fashion week. I’m instagramming, storying, whatsapping, emailing, photographing and any other thing that stops me from having a conversation with a real life person all day long.
Always. These are probably the only make up bits I top up throughout the day. There’s nothing that a bit of bronzer and some good lipstick can’t hide and for what they can’t? Well that leads me perfectly onto my next point…
Ray-Ban Round Metal Flat Lens Mirror in Pink with Gold Frame £143 at ASOS
For looking extra sassy and hiding the bags from last night’s LFW party. Also in the off chance you get street style paper for Vogue (I said off chance alright) nobody wants the half closed eye look. Sunglasses make you look better, period.
Goes without saying.
Red Teardrop Tassel Drop Earrings £10 at River Island
Some glam earrings are always great to have in your handbag in case you want to take your look from day to night or if you’re just not feeling it. Perfect for adding a lil’ bit of sass to your look.
Olympus PEN E-PL8 Compact System Camera £549 at John Lewis
For taking those street style shots for Instagram. It’s all about the gram.
Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader £28 at John Lewis
This is my life saver. If like me your camera doesn’t have wifi, this is perfect for transporting your pics straight to your phone, and therefore your Instagram. I told you once I’ll tell you twice, it’s all about the gram.
