CollectPlus to deliver wardrobe updates within the hour at V Festival

Online clothing retailer will make its CollectPlus next day delivery service available to festival goers at V Festival in Chelmsford in August. CollectPlus Service During London Olympics 2012

The London 2012 Olympics start on the 15th July with the official opening of the Olympic Village. The Olympic Games begin on the 27th July and will run for two weeks, with the Paralympic Games then running between the 29th August and the 9th September. The Olympic Park will close the 14th September 2012. During this busy time, CollectPlus will continue to deliver to all London postcodes and all CollectPlus stores will continue to accept parcels. Boomerang Thursday: the busiest day for parcel returns in 2011

CollectPlus has warned retailers to expect a surge in returned goods following ‘Mega Monday’ as online shoppers rush to secure replacement gifts before Christmas. CollectPlus conducted research showing that one in ten (10%)1 festive gifts bought online last year were returned before Christmas. Due to this we forecast that over two million parcels will be returned this week, with the peak day set to be 1st December, dubbed ‘Boomerang Thursday’. CollectPlus named Third Party Logistics Provider of the Year

CollectPlus, the innovative parcel delivery and returns service, was named the Third Party Logistics Provider of the Year at the Retail Week Supply Chain Awards 2011  for its easy and convenient returns service using local stores, at a ceremony in London on Wednesday, 7th September. CollectPlus launched its alternative returns service in February 2009 for online, mail and phone order retailers, whereby customers can return purchases via their local store.
