Catherine Woolfe is the Marketing Director of CollectPlus, the UK’s largest independent store-based parcel service.
Catherine joined CollectPlus in October 2011. She is responsible for all aspects of the brand’s marketing, social, PR, data, research and insight strategies and activities across its commercial and consumer services, as well as the development of the company’s medium-term business strategy.
Catherine previously spent 5 years at E.ON, where as Head of Marketing Communications she led the development and implementation of their integrated brand advertising strategy, demonstrating a clear return on investment for the business. Before that she worked for the Volkswagen Group for 8 years in a number of marketing roles.
What impresses you the most about CollectPlus?
I joined CollectPlus after spending most of my career working for big multi-national organisations. Sadly it is still all too common for companies of this type to fail to grasp how important it is to understand what their customers think, feel and experience when using their product or service, in order be commercially successful. Therefore it has been so refreshing to work for CollectPlus, where the opposite is true.
We set ourselves up to become our customers’ perfect online shopping partner, and as many of our 35,000+ reviews on Trustpilot will attest, we really do listen to our customers in order to ensure that their experience of using our service is as good as it can be to drive our business forwards.
Whilst many organisations profess to having customers at the heart of everything they do, at CollectPlus this is a core value and something everyone in the business demonstrates on a daily basis.
