Introducing our first Store of the Year

Introducing CollectPlus store of the year: Since April last year, we’ve been rewarding stores that achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and service in our network with our Store of the Quarter award.

Having run the awards for a year we are now happy to announce that we’ve chosen an overall winner for 2014-15: Martins, on Harpenden’s High Street.

Martins, which is managed by Simon Fancourt, has been part of the CollectPlus network since 11 August 2011. The store offers a convenient service thanks to the fact that it is open 7 days a week, allowing local residents to collect online purchases, return unwanted items or send parcels at a time and place that suits them.

Martins was judged to be our top store, achieving the best overall performance for customer satisfaction. It also attracted more new customers than any other and had the highest average growth of parcel volumes.

Our CEO, Neil Ashworth, commented:

“We are delighted to announce Martins in Harpenden as the winner of our store of the year award, an outstanding example among our nationwide network of over 5,800 stores. The customer service provided by all the team here has been consistently excellent throughout the year, so when it came to picking a winner this store was the clear choice.”

Simon Fancourt, Manager of Martin’s, Harpenden said:

“We always work hard to give our customers a great experience in-store, so we couldn’t be more delighted to win this award and I am very proud of the whole team. We joined the CollectPlus network to provide extra services for our customers, so it’s really nice to get such good feedback from them. The service has proven to be really popular, and it’s brought in new visitors who hadn’t known about us before.”
