Pembrokeshire Convenience Store Wins National Company Award


  • Nobles of Narberth convenience store in Narberth named as CollectPlus’ ‘Store of the Quarter’
  • Llanelli-based Yodel driver Neil Thomas named as ‘CollectPlus Driver of the Quarter’ for outstanding store service and support


19 February 2019: Nobles convenience store in Narberth, Pembrokeshire, has been awarded the title of the UK’s best CollectPlus store in the brand’s quarterly national awards programme. The store earned its top ranking by offering outstanding customer satisfaction and service levels to the local community over Christmas, the most important delivery period of the year.


A local driver from CollectPlus’ sister company, Yodel, has also been awarded with the accolade of ‘Driver of the Quarter’. Neil Thomas, from Yodel’s Llanelli customer delivery depot, has been part of the Yodel team since 2017, and has now been nationally recognised for his outstanding support in delivering parcels and providing great customer service to Nobles of Narberth along with the other stores that he visits each day.


The ‘Store of the Quarter’ award recognises excellent service from across the CollectPlus network of over 7,000 newsagents, convenience stores, petrol stations and supermarkets.  The Nobles of Narberth convenience store has been a vibrant hub of the local community for 31 years and has been part of the CollectPlus network since 2009.  Outperforming over 7,000 stores nationwide, the store achieved a perfect customer feedback rating of 5/5 from October to December this year, coupled with perfect process compliance throughout the busiest trading period of the year.
